This meeting followed the AGM so had quite a busy night. Ray C is working away for the next couple of meetings so Ray G is stepping into the breach until he is back.

Pauline is to approach the secretary of the Hippings Vale Centre to ask if we can have the use of one of the lockable cupboards in the small room so we can then store our own cups and any club wire, tools and books that belong to the club.

The next meeting will be the Winter Show on the 8^th Feb and the entry fee will be £1 per tree the winner will receive the proceeds. So bring as many trees as you like!

Steve finished off the evening with a demonstration on his Spirea; he trimmed it and cleaned the bark. Mike won the tree of the month with his lovely delicate Juniper.

The spring show at Shackeltons will need to be discussed and posters and hand outs arranged.

The next informal meeting will be on Monday the 21st Feb where we hope to see as many members as possible with any trees, which need work or help.
