Annual Club Show at:

Oswaldtwistle Mills on Sunday the 26^th July 2009

 

The Accrington & District Bonsai Show at Oswaldtwistle Mills was a resounding success.

 

There was lots of interest shown in the selection of trees we had on show and hopefully we will see some new members attending the club. Seven members were present all day on the stand to answer questions and give advice.

 

We had a selection of bonsai trees, pots and magazines for sale, which did very well

The display area was indoors in our usual place but this year we had more room which was good for our displays.

 

We had a ‘public’ vote for the best tree and this was won by the Hornbeam, the public were very interested in this competition and entered into the spirit of it enthusiasm and at the end of the day we had over 70 votes!  

The winners are listed below, well done and a big thank you to all our members who took part and gave up their time to support the clubs show.
