Hippings Vale Community Centre Oswaldtwistle

Thank you to all our members who helped with the exhibition at Shackeltons, we had a very successful weekend with a lot of interest from the public and a good turnout from the club. The public voted for their favourites and Leo wiped the board winning the Don Daglish cup with his Larch Grouping and second prize for his lovely Azalea so well done to Leo.

There was a lot of interest from the general public and we hope to gain a few new members for our growing club. As usual we found that generally people have the wrong impression of ‘Bonsai’ and it was good to speak to them all and explain about out lovely hobby.

Thank you to Shackeltons for inviting us into their beautiful garden centre where we found a multitude of lovely healthy and well looked after plants and we hope to visit you again next year and thanks to all members who gave up there time to ensure we had a very successful weekend.
